After a draw in the Libertadores debut, Flamengo returns with an eye on Nova Iguaçu
Rubro-Negro won the first leg 3-0 and is very close to lifting its 38th Campeonato Carioca title

After drawing with Millonarios in the Libertadores debut, in Colombia, Flamengo returned this Thursday (4), at Ninho do Urubu, aiming at the second game of the Carioca Championship decision against Nova Iguaçu, next Sunday (7), at 17 pm, at Maracanã. Rubro-Negro can even lose by two goals and still win its 38th state title.
Coach Tite led a tactical activity to begin defining the starting players who will take to the field against the team from Baixada. Striker Gabi and midfielder Gerson remain out of the team.
After the final, Mengão turns its attention to the Libertadores, when it will face Palestino next Wednesday (10), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã. For the Brasileirão, Mais Querido debuts on April 14 against Atlético-GO, at 16 pm, at Serra Dourada.
