During training this Monday (04), left-back Jorge suffered a facial trauma during an activity carried out on the field at CT George Helal. Attended to by the medical team of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, the player received first aid and was subsequently taken conscious to a hospital in Barra da Tijuca for further examinations.

After clinical and neurological evaluation, the athlete was cleared by doctors to rest and return home. Jorge will report back to the George Helal Training Center as normal this Tuesday and will undergo a re-evaluation, as highlighted by Dr. João Marcelo Amorim, Flamengo's doctor.

"Flamengo takes great care of its players. Even though he was already feeling better, we decided to bring the athlete in by ambulance for tests. A clinical and neurological analysis was performed, and nothing was found. Therefore, he was released to return home, rest, and report back tomorrow as normal. Because it is a facial trauma, we will reassess him tomorrow," he explained.
