Flamengo's starting lineup has a day off this Monday and Tuesday after securing early qualification for the Taça Rio semifinals. However, the rest ends there. Although some players believe a teammate or two could be rested for the final round against Friburguense, coach Andrade expects to have full strength for the match.

Right-back Leonardo Moura, thinking about the match against Universidad de Chile, for the Copa Santander Libertadores, believes that the coach may consider leaving some players out of the State match.

"Andrade is the one who decides. Next Wednesday, Flamengo can secure their place in the Libertadores, so perhaps resting a little and working towards this game would be a good alternative," he explained.

The red-and-black coach, in turn, believes that the more game rhythm the team gains, the better. After all, it's still early in the season, and everyone is improving their physical and technical form with each match. Furthermore, according to him, the two days off during the week will be a good idea.

"I know the players are tired because they've come off a strong run of games, and we're going to rest them. But not from the game. They'll rest on Monday and Tuesday, so I don't see any reason to rest anyone against Fribuguense. I'd only consider that if it were the end of the season, but we're still at the beginning of the year, with the team well prepared, and there's no need to rest them," he analyzed.

It is worth remembering that no Flamengo player has entered the field in all of the red-black team's matches this season.
