Mengão faces Ceará this Wednesday (3) at Maracanã and could be champion with one round to spare.

Close to winning their second title in less than a week, Flamengo returned to training on Monday afternoon (1) and began preparations to face Ceará next Wednesday (3), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã, for the penultimate round of the Brasileirão. In case of victory, Mengão guarantees the ninth national title in advance.

Having won their fourth Conmebol Libertadores title by beating Palmeiras 1-0 in Lima last Saturday (29), Rubro-Negro will compete in the Intercontinental Cup. Their debut will be against Cruz Azul, from Mexico, on December 10, at 14 pm (Brasília time), at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, in Qatar.

Before that, Mais Querido will face the last round of the Brasileirão on Sunday (7), when they face Mirassol, at 16 pm, at Maião.
