Tuesday's training session at CT George Helal marked the return of Paolo Guerrero. Suspended by FIFA, the striker had been sidelined since November 03rd and was unable to train with the team. He's now back, but he still has to wait for the suspension, which is scheduled for May 03rd, to end.

Guerrero participated in various activities on the field. Previously, at the Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), he conducted individual assessments to assess the quality of his movements.
When he got to the field, Guerrero worked full-time with scientific coordinator Daniel Gonçalves on ball-based activities. He practiced quick passes, heading, and running.
In the final stage, he joined his teammates and practiced finishing with crosses and direct shots. His aim was spot on, and Guerrero completed all the exercises.
Paolo Guerrero's last game for Flamengo was in October 2017, in a 4-1 rout of Bahia at Ilha do Urubu in the Brazilian Championship. Until the World Cup, the number nine will have seven more games to play: four in the Brazilian Championship, two in the CONMEBOL Libertadores, and one in the Copa do Brasil.
