After one day of intense and varied trainingFlamengo returned to the George Helal Training Center this Wednesday (June 10.06) for tactical training. On the field, the team was lined up with Paulo Victor; Luiz Antonio, Wallace, Samir and Pará; Jonas, Márcio Araújo, Canteros and Éverton; Eduardo and Gabriel, the same team that started in the victory over Chapecoense last Saturday (June 06.06), with the exception of Éverton, who came in for Marcelo Cirino. Among the players, one of them had another reason to celebrate. After a period out of action due to injury, Samir started for the second time in the Brazilian Championship.
After being called up to play against Cruzeiro and Chapecoense, Samir spoke about his satisfaction at returning to the field. "I'm happy to be back. I had the support of my family and friends. I hope to continue helping Flamengo so we can continue climbing the table," said the defender, who also assured that the red-and-black squad is determined to reach new heights. "We're focused. The team returns to the Vargem Grande CT on the afternoon of this Thursday (11.06), at 15:30 pm. On Friday (12.06), activities begin at 10 am and the group travels to Curitiba, where they enter the field at 16:30 pm on Saturday (13.06), to face Coritiba, at Couto Pereira.
