After victory, Flamengo resumes training at CT George Helal
Athletes who started the match against Grêmio do regenerative work at CEP FLA, while the others carry out technical and tactical training
By Matheus Oliveira* - inAfter an important victory achieved this Sunday (21) in the Brazilian Championship, the red-black squad returned to the George Helal Training Center, in Vargem Grande, to begin preparations for the opening match in the Copa Sudamericana. The athletes who started the match against Grêmio did regenerative training at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center, while the other players went to the field to work with the ball.
Zé Ricardo led a technical drill on wing play and finishing, focusing on the movement of midfielders and attackers when positioning themselves inside the penalty area. The coach then led a tactical drill focusing on playmaking and creating space.

Another highlight of the small-sided work was the Flamengo coach's guidance regarding the cadence and acceleration of plays, urging players to be bold when making passes between the lines. There was an emphasis on positioning and the involvement of attacking players when constructing plays.
The Mais Querido's first challenge in the continental competition will be against Figueirense. The match will be played at Orlando Scarpelli Stadium in Florianópolis, with kick-off starting at 21:45 p.m.
