After thrashing Duque de Caxias 4-2 and taking the lead in Group B of the Taça Rio, Flamengo returned to training this Thursday afternoon in Gávea. The coaching staff began preparing the red-and-black team for its next challenge in the Campeonato Carioca, on Saturday, against Tigres at Maracanã.

The players who started the match against Caxias did some light physical training on the field. The rest of the squad participated in a technical activity with Cuca. The coach divided the players into two teams, which faced each other on a reduced field.

Ronaldo Angelim, who is recovering from surgery on his right thigh, did specific work with physical trainer Daniel Jouvin.

Flamengo will return tomorrow at 9am in Gávea for their final training session before facing Tigres.
