After another victory in the Brasileirão, Flamengo returned this Monday (24), at Ninho do Urubu, and began preparations for the match against Juventude, which will be played next Wednesday (26), at 20 pm, at the Alfredo Jaconi stadium, in Caxias do Sul. The match is valid for the 12th round of the national competition.

The starters for the derby against Fluminense did regenerative work in the gym, while the rest took to the field for a tactical exercise led by Tite. Striker Everton Cebolinha continues to recover from pain in his right hip.

Defender Léo Pereira, who came on in the second half of the Fla-Flu match, spoke about the goals the team has been scoring late in games and highlighted the team's mental strength:

"We wanted to settle the matches earlier, but it shows we have a mentally strong group. This is also a dilemma for our coach: whether we can focus on the match for the full 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Should we do it in the final kick, in the 40th minute, or decide the game with 10 minutes left? I think that's been our dilemma: mentally strong for 90 minutes plus stoppage time. And we're happy. The red-black squad returns to training this Tuesday (23), and then travels to Caxias do Sul. With 24 points, one more than the runner-up, Mengão will be looking for three points to remain at the top of the Brasileirão.
