The day after the 1-0 victory over São Paulo was spent training at Gávea. The players who started the match did muscle recovery and relaxation work, aiming for the match against Fluminense on Sunday (October 07th) at Maracanã.

The only starters who participated in an activity on the field were defenders Fábio Luciano and Ronaldo Angelim. The players walked laps around the pitch.

On the field, assistant coach Andrade led a finishing drill for players like Obina, Leonardo, and Toró. On the other side of the field, Renato Augusto was the star of a ball-handling and movement session. The midfielder is in the final stages of recovery.

Striker Paulo Sérgio, who is recovering from surgery on his left collarbone, worked separately from the rest of the squad.
