Flamengo's watchword for Saturday's match (August 14.08) is overcoming. With players still not in optimal physical shape and needing to end a four-match winless streak in the Brasileirão, Rubro-Negro believes that now is the time to do everything possible to achieve a positive result.

"The word is overcoming. Everyone has to give their all so the team can achieve a good result. The team has quality, the work is being done well, and I'm sure we'll fight for good things in this championship," said midfielder Correa.

Confidence in their work, combined with defensive solidity, is one of the Gávea team's main weapons for Saturday's match. Correa believes that if the team maintains its low number of goals conceded and manages to create more chances in attack, they will do well in the Brazilian Championship.

"We know the responsibility of achieving a good result, especially because the sequence hasn't been very good for us. We have to maintain our pressure on the defense, which is very good, and try to create more opportunities for the attackers to take the chances so that Flamengo can come away with the three points," said the number 7, who believes that a victory, regardless of the score, is essential.

"If we can win, convince, and score a lot of goals, that would be great, but football is about results, and a victory is what interests us, even if it's 1-0. There's no point in playing well and not winning. There have been games in the Brazilian league where that happened. The important thing is to get the three points," he added.
