WHAT:\ Clube de Regatas do Flamengo will announce its participation in the Superleague Formula in a special presentation in the club's trophy room.\

WHAT IS SUPERLEAGUE FORMULA? Superleague Formula is the fusion of two of the world's most popular sports—it captures the passion of soccer with the adrenaline and thrill of motorsports. The new concept will debut in August 2008, with a grid of single-seaters equipped with 750-horsepower V12 engines, painted in the colors of the world's top soccer clubs, including Flamengo. The Rio team will compete on the track against 20 other top teams from around the world, including AC Milan, PSV Eindhoven, FC Porto, Olympiacos, Borussia Dortmund, RSC Anderlecht, and FC Basel.
