Back in Rio de Janeiro after the friendly against Vila Nova in Goiânia, the red-and-black squad resumed their training routine at the George Helal Training Center in Vargem Grande. After the training session, Willian Arão appeared in the Victorino Chermont Press Room to give a press conference.

Called up to join the Brazilian national team for the charity match against Colombia, the midfielder spoke about his satisfaction with his first call-up. "It's a dream come true. I'm very happy. It's the fruit of my work. I thank God, my family, my teammates, and Flamengo as well. I'll prepare myself as best I can to get to the game and put in a great performance, so that, God willing, I won't be out again," said Arão.

His call-up also led to a reunion. Tite was the midfielder's coach during his time at Corinthians. Now, dressed in green and yellow, they will work together once again. "He was my first professional coach. I carry many of his teachings to this day, and they help me a lot. I'm very grateful to him, as I am to all the other coaches I've had the pleasure of working with and who taught me. Because he was the first, I remember many more things, because he was the one with whom I started," concluded the red-and-black number 8.
