In a vote made up of journalists from all over Brazilsil, midfielder De Arrascaeta was elected the Brasileirão's best player of the month for April. In the first seven rounds, the number 10 of Flamengo has scored six goals and leads the scoring charts in the national championship. It's worth noting that the Uruguayan didn't play in the first round against Internacional. 

Two-time Brasileirão champion wearing the Manto Sagrado, Arrascaeta debuted in the second round against Vitória, at Barradão, and scored one of the goals in the 2-1 victory. In the following game, he found the net twice in Porto Alegre, in the 2-0 victory over Grêmio. Three days later, at Maracanã, the number 10 scored a goal and provided two assists in the red-black team's 6-0 rout of Juventude. 

In the last match of April, Arrasca shone again with a goal and an assist in the 4-0 rout of Corinthians on the 27th at Maracanã. In May, the star Uruguayan scored in the 2-1 defeat to Cruzeiro at Mineirão. 

With Arrascaeta related, Mengão returns to the field this Wednesday (7) to face Central Córdoba, at 21:30 pm (Brasília time), at the Único Madre de Ciudades stadium, in Argentina, for the fourth round of Group C of the Libertadores. Next Saturday (10), the duel will be against Bahia, at 21 pm, at Maracanã, for the Brasileirão.
