Mengão's number 14 has already recorded seven assists in the Brasileirão, two in the Libertadores, and five in the Carioca. He also has the most assists in the Brasileirão since 2006: 54, 35 of which were for Flamengo. Arrasca surpassed the likes of Conca, D'Alessandro, and Montillo.

In addition to Arrascaeta's achievements, the Rubro-Negro also broke a historic record. It was the first time the team had won at Ressacada in the Brasileirão. Coach Dorival Júnior praised the triumph in Florianópolis.
