It's been a difficult few months for Matheus Dantas. Just as he was starting to shine in Flamengo's youth ranks, the young defender suffered a serious knee injury that sidelined him. Worse still, just as he was about to return, he had another knee injury. His perseverance never wavered, and the difficult phase turned into a learning experience.

Recognized for his refined technique, Dantas has also become one of the leaders of the Flamengo U-20 squad. When discussing the team's journey to the Copa São Paulo title, he demonstrates his maturity. In an exclusive conversation with FlaTV during the group stage, he analyzed the team's performances with coolness and intelligence.

"The Copinha is a great learning experience. We're used to playing under pressure, against teams that play defensively. We've always been dedicated. We learned from this by focusing on finishing and making the final pass," he said.

With great defensive performances, a goal to his name, and a wealth of maturity, Dantas crowns his comeback with one of the most important titles in youth football in the country.
