The exercises focused on injury prevention and recovery for the starting players from the game that took place at Arena das Dunas. The remaining athletes did muscle activation work. On the pitch, physical trainers Daniel Gonçalves and Marcelo Martorelli led the warm-up with the entire group. The activity included Bill, Andrade, Wesley, Luiz Henrique, Moraes, Jean Lucas, and Vinicius Júnior, who are part of the club's under-20 team.

After the initial stage, the group warmed up with the ball, performing passing and movement exercises at small stations on Field 4. Then, the group split into two teams: one continuing the previous work in a larger area of the field with more players, and the other playing two-on-two in a smaller strip of the field on the other half.

Finally, there was a playmaking activity involving attack versus defense drills, with the youth team players and those who were on the bench against Boavista or who did not participate in the match.

Training will resume on Tuesday afternoon (31), in an activity that will close the red-black team's preparation to face Macaé. The match will take place next Wednesday (01), at the Raulino de Oliveira Stadium, in Volta Redonda, with the ball rolling from 19:30 pm.
