On the morning of this Friday (17), interim coach Zé Ricardo led technical work on the pitch of Field 2 at CT George Helal. The players who started the match against Cruzeiro last Wednesday (15) only did regenerative training at the Flamengo Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA).

The athletes who did not play or who came on as a substitute in the game against the Minas Gerais club began the day with muscle activation work. Then, they went to Field 2 to begin warming up, both physically and with the ball, on the grass.

Following this, technical training took place on the same field. The activity focused on ball possession through quick passing drills and defensive recovery in specific exercises. Zé Ricardo and the professionals from the club's physical department closely monitored the activity, instructing the athletes throughout.

This Saturday (18), the activity that will be carried out at the CT will be closed to the press. The group continues its preparation for the match next Sunday (19) against São Paulo. The match will be played at the Mané Garrincha Stadium, in Brasília, and will start at 16 pm.
