Update (10/02) - Situation of athletes Cauan Emanuel, Francisco Dyogo and Jhonata Ventura
By Flamengo Communication - inClube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that athlete Cauan Emanuel has been discharged from the ICU and will be transferred to his room early this Sunday afternoon (10). The boy is doing well clinically and is breathing without oxygen. Athlete Francisco Dyogo is on the improvement curve, but is recovering a little more slowly and continues with respiratory physiotherapy treatment in the ICU. Flamengo's head of medical department, Dr. Márcio Tannure, and the club's youth team doctor, Dr. Mauro Fonseca, as well as the cardiologist at Hospital Vitória, who is responsible for the boys' hospitalization, Dr. Fernando Bassan, are monitoring their progress.
Athlete Jhonata Ventura remains hemodynamically stable and is hospitalized in the burn center at Pedro II Hospital in serious condition, sedated and on mechanical ventilation. Jhonata has had a fever for the past 24 hours. He was given another bath and bandaged on the deeper burns. Flamengo doctors, Drs. Luiz Claudio Baldi and Gustavo Dutra, continue to monitor the athlete's situation.
