In a game valid for the 30th round of the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo beat Goiás 3-0 on Monday night (18), at the Serrinha stadium, in Goiânia. The Rubro-Negro's goals were scored by Arrascaeta, Gabi and Pedro, in the last minute of the game. With the result, Mais Querido remained in fourth place and reached 52 points in the championship.

The game
Under heavy rain, Flamengo started the match imposing its own rhythm and attacked Goiás, exchanging passes in its attacking half, looking for space to penetrate Goiás' defense. With the field heavy, the red-and-black team struggled to exchange passes and set up offensive plays.

In the 18th and 22nd minutes, Gabi found the net twice, but VAR ruled them out. After much persistence, Mengão opened the scoring! In the 41st minute, Diego passed the ball to Arrascaeta inside the box, who fired a first-time shot. The ball deflected off the marker and deceived goalkeeper Tadeu: 1-0. Flamengo went into halftime with the lead.

In the second half, the rain eased off and the pitch improved, favoring the red-and-black team's passing. Seven minutes in, Diego received the ball at the edge of the box and took a shot. The ball sailed just wide of the post.

In the 17th minute, Mengão extended their lead! Bruno Henrique received the ball on the right, capitalized on a mistake by the Goiás player, advanced quickly into the box, and passed it to Gabi, who simply had to tap it into the net: 2-0. With the advantage, the Mais Querido began to exchange passes with ease and even managed to score a third goal in the final minute of the game. Renê challenged the defense, and the ball fell to Pedro, who slotted it into the back of the net for a 3-0 victory for the Goiás.

The Most Beloved returns to the field next Thursday (21) to face Palmeiras, at 19 pm, at the Mané Garrincha stadium, in Brasília. The clash is valid for the 31st round of the Brasileirão.
