Striker Pedro participated this Monday (24) in the program “Resenha do Jogo”, on FlaTV, after having a good performance and scoring the winning goal in the classic against Fluminense, last Sunday (23). The number 9 spoke about the game and the leadership of the Brazilian Championship, projecting the next duel against Juventude. Check out some excerpts from the interview:

Leadership
"It's definitely complicated, it's not easy. Usually, whoever's leading is a team to beat, everyone there is looking at us, but what we have to do is think about ourselves, our work, our progress each week so we don't relax and strive for victory in every game."

Your good moment
"I just have to thank God for this moment I'm experiencing. Another great moment here at Flamengo, at the club I've supported since I was a kid. This is where I realize my dreams every day I train, play... winning the Fla-Flu title with a goal in a 1-0 victory is incredibly rewarding."

About the defensive system
"We managed to apply that pressure. Fluminense had possession, but couldn't reach the final third of our goal. This is a credit to everyone, from Rossi to the defense, who push the team to press, to the defensive midfielders who provide support. To be able to press, we depend on them. So it's the team and the work we do during the week with Tite and his committee, who study it. This makes things easier for us; the merit is collective, and whoever comes in knows what they have to do."
