Defender Léo Pereira participated in FlaTV's "Resenha do Jogo" (Game Review) this Friday (16), after having a good performance in the red-black defense and scoring one of the goals in yesterday's (15) 2-0 victory over Bolívar, in the first leg of the round of 4 of the Libertadores. The number XNUMX spoke about his performance on the field, the good phase that Mengão is experiencing, projected the next match and much more. Check out some excerpts from the interview:  

Attacking climbs
"There are moments in the match when we rely heavily on instinct, on the excitement of wanting to help in some way. The game load is a factor that hurts our team. So, I look around and see some players a little tired. I want to help in some way, and I'll see what happens. But always preserving the defensive system, because that's what's important to us, and when I can, I'll help up front."

The goal
"It's been practiced. Usually, Erick and I go to the near post to try to deflect the ball or head it toward goal. I think Pulgar headed a ball in the first half. We have strong plays on corners, free kicks, and whenever we can, we try to score."

Crowd atmosphere
"Against Palmeiras, Arrascaeta scored the goal when the fans were singing loudly. So, it's become a common occurrence in recent games. Whenever they're supporting and encouraging us, singing loudly, we're in that avalanche with them, scoring goals. We feel that energy on the field, we concentrate as much as possible, but the volume is so high that it ends up helping us and hindering the opponent."
