Midfielder Everton Ribeiro was a guest on FlaTV's "Resenha do Craque" on Monday (26) and chatted about his performance in the 3-2 victory over Santos last Sunday (25) at Vila Belmiro. The number 7, who scored the second goal for the red-black team in the match with a header, also previewed the duel against Aucas, in the last round of the Libertadores group stage. Victory against Santos
"This away win was crucial, as we'd been struggling to win. After a very poor performance against Bragantino, getting this win at Vila was crucial. We needed a response, and I believe this victory strengthens us and gives us confidence for Wednesday, when we'll be together with the nation and play a great game."

Confrontation against Aucas
"We've put ourselves in this situation of not having qualified yet, but we're close and we're going to do everything we can to put in a good performance, qualify and go into the round of 16 of the Libertadores with confidence."

Sampaoli's tactical scheme
"Against Santos, I played more of a winger, wide on the right, rather than playing more inside like I'd been in other matches. We adapt game by game, based on what he asks and what we've trained during the week. Sampaoli clearly defines what he wants in training, and that makes things much easier. When the game arrives, everyone knows what they have to do, and it becomes automatic with each match."
