After defeating Nova Iguaçu 1-0 to become the Campeonato Carioca champion, striker Bruno Henrique, scorer of the goal and one of the highlights of the final, was a guest on FlaTV's "Resenha do Jogo" program. The number 27 spoke about his current situation, the titles won by Mengão, and much more. Check out some excerpts from the interview:
About the goal
"Yesterday I was thinking and I talked to the physiotherapist here at the club, Márcio Puglia, and I think the most accurate way to describe me is that I'm a very enlightened guy, thank God. In the last game of the final, I scored a goal like that, with the score tied and us pressing the whole time to score. When the ball came from Ayrton, I tried to look at the goal to finish."
Long passes
"I'm good at attacking space, exploiting the opponent's back, so I like to see that pass. Léo already has this connection with me; whenever I come on, he always sends that long ball. So, once again, we scored that kind of goal, initiated by Léo Pereira's pass and then by Ayrton Lucas."
88 goals for Flamengo and 12 titles
"It's taken a while for it to sink in, because ever since I arrived here, I've always wanted to make history wearing the Flamengo jersey, and that history is still being written today. I'm very happy to be doing my job well on the field, helping the team, winning titles, and scoring goals. I hope to continue to increase these numbers."
