Highly praised, having scored one of the goals in Flamengo's 3-1 victory over Goiás in the last round of the Brazilian Championship, the winger knows he will be heavily marked in Sunday's game.

"I know it's important to vary the plays, create space, and move into the middle. With the system we're practicing, I have the freedom to attack and shoot at goal," Juan explained.

In the first half of the year, Flamengo and Botafogo faced each other three times and the full-back thinks it's cool to fuel this healthy rivalry between the teams.

"It's nice to play against the same team several times, especially Botafogo, which has a great squad. I hope the red-and-blacks are happy on Monday," Juan added.
