Flamengo's youth futsal teams kicked off the State Championship this Sunday (August 24.08th) on the right foot. The U-09, U-11, and U-13 teams of the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) played against their respective Mello Tênis Club teams, winning all their matches. Under-09s - Mello TC 1 x 6 CR Flamengo
Under-11s - Mello TC 2 x 6 CR Flamengo
Under-13s - Mello TC 4 x 11 CR Flamengo
The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo futsal teams rely on resources from their sponsors – CSN (Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional), Banco Bonsucesso and Brasil Brokers – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Confederation of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
