In the rout against San Lorenzo, Orlando Berrío delivered a performance worthy of applause. The forward was instrumental in the 4-0 victory of the Mais Querido in their debut match in the CONMEBOL Libertadores Bridgestone.
This Friday (10), Berrío appeared at the Victorino Chermont Press Room, at Ninho do Urubu, to give a press conference. Having been at the club for just over a month, the owner of the number 28 Sacred Mantle spoke about his adaptation to Rio de Janeiro and the good reception from his teammates.

"My adaptation has been excellent. My teammates have made things much easier, and the coaching staff has provided me with everything I needed to adapt to the group. I'm delighted with Rio; I really like it. I'm very happy here, and so is my family," said the Colombian striker, who projected his adaptation on the field. "As for the field, I believe it will be even quicker," he added.

In front of a packed Maracanã stadium in his debut match for the red-and-black team in the continent's most prestigious competition, Berrío was overwhelmed by the celebration the nation provided. "Everything was spectacular. The stage we played on, the support of the fans. The way the stadium was set up was incredibly motivating. I'd like to thank each and every fan who came to the stadium and put on such a wonderful show. The least we could do was give them the victory," he praised.
