There are still some legal formalities to be completed, such as a work visa and the opening of the international transfer window, but Darío Bottinelli is gradually preparing for his first season with Flamengo. Having arrived in Londrina less than a week ago with his new teammates, the player trained with the ball alongside the entire group for the first time on Tuesday afternoon (January 11.01th) and was excited about the future.

Happy to be adapting naturally to the group's routine, Darío still doesn't know if he will be able to face América-MG on Sunday (January 16.01th) at the Estádio do Café. He is expected to go to Buenos Aires later this week to finalize the documentation process he needs to obtain in his country and hopes to return in time for the match.

"I think it was important. I'm starting to feel what the coach wants and I'm happy with that. I don't know yet if I'll play on Sunday, I have to sort out the issue of going to Argentina, I think I'll go before the weekend, but I hope to be fit to play," he said.

Already friends with Fierro, his roommate, and also with the other Chilean in the group, Maldonado, the Argentinian appreciated the welcome he received from his teammates at Flamengo. According to him, this support is very important.

"It was very important to be welcomed as I was. They treated me well and that really helped me adapt and feel at home here," he added.

Flamengo and América will face off at 17 PM next Sunday. The match will be broadcast live on Rede Globo.
