Bottinelli arrives in Londrina for pre-season training.
The Argentinian supporter says he's very happy and reveals that he even has a friend who's a Flamengo fan.

Argentine Darío Bottinelli experienced an unusual situation for a Flamengo player this Wednesday (December 05.12th): he walked calmly through the Santos Dumont Airport lobby before boarding for Londrina, where he joined the group that is carrying out pre-season training in the Paraná city. Despite not yet being very well known to the fans, the midfielder doesn't hide his eagerness to soon be closer to the Flamengo supporters. To achieve this, he knows he has to work hard and show great commitment on the field.
Upon arrival, he was greeted only by the club's football manager, Isaias Tinoco. Nothing close to the nearly 200 fans who packed the airport upon the delegation's arrival. But anyone who thinks Darío cares about that is mistaken. On the contrary. He shows interest in learning more about Brazilian football, Flamengo's tradition, and the behavior of the Flamengo fans. On the way to Londrina, he asks questions about who Flamengo's biggest rival is, Vasco or Fluminense, and also about the main teams in each city. "I'm very happy. It's my first time in Rio de Janeiro and I'm enjoying it. I hope to adapt quickly. I believe that in about two weeks I'll be well prepared physically. I've been training and playing normally, I was just on vacation at the moment. Flamengo is a great club, I know the responsibility, I know it's the most beloved club in the country and I hope to do well here," he said.
His body is covered in 15 tattoos – among them, a chicken, symbolizing his nickname, "Pollo," the names of his children, Darío and Vitoria, as well as a windmill and a soccer ball. He has only one goal: to achieve the same success in Brazil as he did in Chile. An idol at Universidad Católica, Bottinelli wants to establish new roots in another country. Proof of this is that the midfielder will bring his family to Rio soon and has the support of his friends to play for Flamengo.
"I even have a friend who says he's a Flamengo fan, that the shirt is like a second skin to him. Everyone has supported me. In June, they'll come to Brazil. My family should come before then, I think in about 15 or 20 days. I'm excited. I'm going to dedicate myself a lot and I want to honor the Flamengo shirt. My goal is to win titles here," explained the Argentinian, who will be Fierro's roommate at the Fla hotel in Londrina.
Bottinelli participated in full-time training as normal this Thursday (December 06.12th), but next week he must return to Argentina to get his visa stamped. In addition, he is still awaiting the completion of the transfer process from Atlas, Mexico, before he can make his official debut for Flamengo.
