At the Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, this July, Flamengo had dozens of athletes selected across various sports. In soccer, the Flamengo representative was defender Bressan. At just 22 years old, the athlete celebrated a podium finish with the Brazilian national team, which won a bronze medal, but most importantly, the opportunity to mature in an international competition.

"I'm very happy to be back and to have won the medal. It was great to be able to represent Flamengo in such a big competition as the Pan-American Games, which also served as experience and helped me grow. I want to return to Flamengo stronger and be able to help the team in the Brazilian Championship," he says.

Even though he's away, Bressan hasn't stopped watching Flamengo's games and guarantees he'll be back with a lot of energy. "I've been watching my teammates from afar, and I think the team has been playing great games. I'm very motivated to be back with the team so we can continue to evolve and put Flamengo where it deserves to be. Now it's time to work hard," he stated.

The defender returned to training this Wednesday (July 29.07), at the George Helal Training Center and is now available to coach Cristóvão Borges. He is already scheduled for all games: become a fan member.
