Correa's suspension due to his third yellow card, received in the derby against Vasco, will leave coach Rogério Lourenço with a doubt regarding his team's lineup for next Sunday's (08.08) duel against Corinthians, at Pacaembu. Without being able to count on the defensive midfielder, Rogério will have many options to form the midfield in the match that could mark Flamengo's return to the G4.
The first is Fernando's lineup, who returned to action in last weekend's match against their rivals from São Januário, after a period of inactivity due to injury. A defensive player, but also a quality passer, he hopes to earn a run of games to return to his best form.
"Professor Rogério praised me, the members of the committee helped me a lot and I showed work to see if I can start playing against Corinthians and have a sequence like I had in the Carioca and Libertadores," he said.
