Bruno didn't spend long with Renato at Flamengo, but even so, he knows what the player is capable of.
"He's a fighter, he plays for the team, and Flamengo is on the right track. I wasn't here for the Copa do Brasil, but I had the pleasure of playing with him, and I remember a game against Fluminense where he scored a fantastic goal from a free kick," he recalled.
In addition to a quality reinforcement to the group, Bruno also gains a companion and even a teacher in free kick training.
"He's a specialist in free kicks, from medium and long range. With players like him and Pet, who is another great taker, you can learn a lot. The fans and the club benefit from this," observed the goalkeeper, who took the opportunity to praise the work being done by the executive director of football, Zico.
"Zico is doing the right thing and bringing in experienced players who will help us a lot. Now, we have to work hard, and I do believe we can put together a good squad for the Brazilian Championship. The title is a consequence of the work, and we're going to go after it," he added.
