Last night's 4-1 victory over Mesquita at Maracanã had a special flavor for goalkeeper Bruno. Scorer of a stunning free kick that sealed the rout, the Gávea No. 1 couldn't hide his joy during training this afternoon.

"It was a beautiful goal and very important to me. But what I value most is yesterday's victory. There was no point in me scoring if Flamengo didn't win. Scoring another free kick at Maracanã is something different and special."

For Bruno, yesterday's beautiful goal doesn't guarantee him as the team's official goal scorer.

"The decision about the official taker is up to Cuca. I just have to keep working and dedicating myself to training so I'm ready when the opportunity arises. We have great takers, like Léo Moura and Marcelinho, but if the opportunity presents itself, I'll take it."

The goalkeeper took the opportunity to support striker Obina, who has yet to break through in the Campeonato Carioca.

"Obina hasn't scored yet, but he'll decide the championship for us soon. He's the kind of guy who goes into a semifinal or final and scores two or three goals. He's brilliant. I'm sure he'll score soon."
