After renewing his contract with Flamengo until 2023, striker Bruno Henrique is ready to embark on a new chapter in the red-and-black jersey. In a press conference this morning at Ninho, the player expressed his joy at extending his contract with the club.

"My desire to stay and take on new challenges prevailed. I take it in stride. Negotiations went smoothly. Because of everything that happened to me in 2019, I talked to my family, and we decided to stay. We feel completely at ease at Flamengo. It has a huge structure, which many European clubs don't have," he highlighted.

The striker believes that Flamengo's start to the season will be good and hopes that the team's performance will continue to improve throughout the games.

"We're off to a great start. After just a few days of training, we've already hit the field and played a good match. There's a final on the 16th, right? I'm sure we'll be much better prepared for this game," he stated.

Flamengo faces Madureira this Saturday (08), at 18 pm, at Maracanã. On the 16th, the Most Beloved faces Athletico in the grand final of the Brazilian Super Cup, at 11 am, at Mané Garrincha, in Brasília.
