Flamengo officially announced, this Monday (4), the contract renewal of Bruno Henrique until December 2027. The striker signed the new contract at Ninho do Urubu, after the day's training, alongside the football director, José Boto, and accompanied by his wife Gisellen and children Lorenzo and Pietro.

Since his debut in the jersey on January 26, 2019, in the Campeonato Carioca, in which he scored two goals against Botafogo, the number 27 has played 362 games, scored 114 goals and provided 58 assists.

Known for his leading role in decisive moments, Bruno Henrique built the reputation of "King of the Classics," with 22 goals in 63 matches against the three state rivals. He is also the Brazilian with the most direct goal involvements in the history of the Libertadores Cup (44) and the 3rd highest scorer for Flamengo in the Brazilian Championship under the current points system.

At 35 years old, the renewal also consolidates the permanence of one of the most successful players in the club's history, with 18 official titles:

• Campeonato Carioca: 2019, 2020, 2021, 2024, 2025 and 2026;
• Brazilian Championship: 2019, 2020 and 2025;
• Copa Libertadores: 2019, 2022 and 2025;
• Brazilian Super Cup: 2020, 2021 and 2025;
• Copa do Brasil: 2022 and 2024;
• Recopa Sudamericana: 2020.

With the new contract, the striker continues a trajectory marked by performance, titles, and identification with the club:

“From the first invitation, Flamengo moved me. It’s a huge honor to stay for another year. I arrived with the goal of helping and I’ve experienced much more than I imagined. The word is gratitude for everything I’ve built here and for the contract extension. I want to continue bringing joy to the fans and helping the club achieve even more.”, the athlete stated.

After the contract was signed, José Boto, the club's football director, explained one of the reasons for extending the contract with the Flamengo idol.

“More than the idol he is and will be in a few years, what he means to the team right now is very important. I have 40 years of experience in football, and when people ask me about professionalism and competitiveness, he comes to mind: he won everything he won and continues to be, every day, an example of competitiveness, overcoming challenges, and professionalism for the 18 and 19-year-old boys.”"That's all," the manager concluded.

Also present at the George Helal Training Center this Tuesday was the club's president, Luiz Eduardo Baptista. He took the opportunity to congratulate the number 27 player and concluded:
