One of the great names in Flamengo's recent history, Bruno Henrique once again showed his importance on the field in the victory over Cusco, in the opening match of the CONMEBOL Libertadores 2026, last Wednesday (8). Playing at almost 3.500 meters of altitude, at the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega Stadium, the number 27 stood out and was a key player in the team's performance.

Even after a recent period of recovery from a pubic injury, Bruno Henrique displayed a high level of physical fitness and intensity throughout almost the entire match. According to internal data, the striker was responsible for three of the four highest speed peaks recorded in the game, the highest reaching 34,4 km/h.

In addition to his intensity, the number 27 shirt player acted as a focal point in attack and also contributed defensively. Bruno Henrique won both aerial duels he contested, in addition to having three shots on goal and opening the scoring.

This performance reinforces the striker's importance, who has already built a remarkable career with the club. Since his debut in January 2019, when he scored two goals against Botafogo, Bruno Henrique has played 355 games, scored 113 goals and provided 55 assists for Flamengo, establishing himself as one of the club's top scorers in the 21st century. 

With impressive numbers and decisive participation in important moments, the striker is also among the greatest champions in Flamengo's history. Alongside Arrascaeta, he has won 18 titles, including 3 Copa Libertadores and 3 Brazilian Championships. He is also the second player with the most appearances for the club in the continental competition, with 21 goals scored and 16 assists.
