During an interview held on Monday afternoon (4), at CT George Helal, the president of Flamengo, Luiz Eduardo Baptista, announced that Flamengo will honor striker Bruno Henrique with a bust at the club's social headquarters, in Gávea. 

The news was given directly to the striker during the recording of an interview for FlamengoTV about the contract renewal between Flamengo and the number 27 player. 

“I always believed that the greatest tributes should be paid to people who are alive. And we want to do that with Bruno, while he's alive, playing here, in front of the Nation.”"Bap announced, leaving Bruno Henrique visibly emotional with the statement."

The bust is expected to be unveiled on the club's anniversary this year, November 15, 2026.

The number 27, who has worn the jersey since January 2019, renewed his contract with Flamengo until December 2027. So far, the striker has accumulated 362 games, 114 goals and 58 assists for the club. Furthermore, he is the Brazilian with the most direct goal involvements in the history of the Copa Libertadores and has won 18 titles: among them, three Copa Libertadores, three Brazilian Championships and two Copa do Brasil.
