Bruno doesn't want to hear about complaints
The goalkeeper and captain of the red-black team, however, reveals that he did not expect a complicated situation in the Libertadores.

Flamengo, considered by many to be the heavy favorite in Group 8 of the Copa Santander Libertadores, now needs a combination of results to advance to the next stage of the competition. This situation was unexpected for the fans, much less for the Flamengo players.
Goalkeeper Bruno praised the strength of the squad, but asked that the team adopt a more aggressive stance in the competition's matches.
"Given the quality of our team, I didn't expect this. But we have to make things happen. We'll fight and hope God helps us qualify. If it doesn't work out, oh well, but we didn't need to go through this. We talked a lot during the week, especially the more experienced players, but it happens," said the number 1.
Despite not being happy with the team's performance and the result of the match, Bruno doesn't want to hear about complaints.
"We don't have to keep complaining. Sometimes the best team loses, and that's why football is interesting. We have perhaps the best team in the group, and we're there depending on a combination of results to qualify. We know our responsibility, we'll face it, and we'll strive for qualification," he added.
Next Wednesday, Flamengo hosts Caracas, the last-place team in the group, at Maracanã, and can qualify with even a simple victory over the Venezuelans. Only the six best second-place teams qualify. Currently, only Group 4 has the first- and second-place teams with fewer than ten points (Libertad and Universitario). In Group 1, second-place Racing has seven, and in Group 6, Banfield has eight.
