After this morning's training session in Gávea, vice president of football Kleber Leite put an end to the incident involving goalkeepers Bruno and Paulo Victor and forwards Diego Tardelli and Marcinho. The club's director confirmed that the players will be fined.

"We felt betrayed. They asked to be released to see their families. They will be fined 20% of their salaries. We sense the players' remorse. Paulo Victor won't be fined because he trained that day and wasn't focused the next day. That's it. We apologize to the fans for everything that happened. We believe everything has been resolved. The athletes know what they did was wrong. There will no longer be any release of players for travel. There has never been a disciplinary problem here; it's not an orgy. There is deep respect among everyone; this will never happen again."

Bruno issued a statement confirming the incident. The goalkeeper apologized to Flamengo fans and stated that everything is now behind him.

"What happened won't interfere with the team's work. We know what we did could have harmed everyone. We apologize to everyone. I've already resolved the issue at home and with the group. I apologize to the fans for everything we did wrong. It really happened, we don't have to hide anything."

Captain Fábio Luciano spoke on behalf of the red-black group.

"They've already spoken to the group; they had to explain themselves to the families and the players. They tarnished the club's reputation. But our work doesn't change; the group is united and focused on the title. Maybe this will further strengthen the team. I think they understand their attitude is wrong. We have a tough game against Vasco coming up, and from now on, we'll only talk about that."
