Rodrigo Alvim is out of Sunday's match against Friburguense. Having picked up two yellow cards in the Rio Cup, he will be rested by coach Andrade. The versatile Flamengo player can still play as a left-back or defensive midfielder, but he's certain of one thing: he'll dedicate himself fully to winning the titles he's competing for this season.

Highly praised by Andrade for his versatility, Alvim makes no secret of his preference for playing in his original position: full-back. However, he assures that if necessary, he can easily play as a defensive midfielder, as he has done on other occasions.

"Every opportunity here at Flamengo is important. I feel most comfortable on the wing, but if they choose to play me in the middle, I'll dedicate myself just as much to perform to the best of my ability," he said.

Alvim still dreams of another opportunity in the Copa Santander Libertadores. He played in two of Flamengo's three matches in the competition, scoring goals in both.

"We have an important game on Sunday, followed by a Libertadores match, which is a special competition. It's time to work hard, stay focused, and do our best to help Flamengo in both competitions," he concluded.
