Flamengo's squad returned this Friday afternoon for the penultimate training session before Sunday's decisive Fla-Flu match at the Maracanã Stadium. Caio Júnior took advantage of the day to work on the team's tactical skills.

In the attack-versus-defense drill, the big news was the presence of young Everton among the starters. Caio Júnior lined up the team with: Bruno, Léo Moura, Fábio Luciano, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Jailton, Toró, Kleberson, and Everton; Marcelinho Paraíba and Obina. After the tactical drill, the players practiced set pieces and free kicks.

Caio Júnior explained the choice of Everton, just 19 years old, who will make his debut in a Fla-Flu match.

"Everton is likely to start in the starting lineup. I really enjoyed his training yesterday and today. He's a very dynamic player with excellent dribbling, strength, and vision. I've known him for a long time. I've been following his work since 2002, and he has everything he needs to do very well in football. He's a kid with a lot of personality, but fans need to be patient, because he'll bring a lot of joy."

Everton thanked Caio Júnior for his confidence and said he is ready to play a great game on Sunday.

"Caio Júnior never gave up on signing me, and I'm very grateful for that. It was already a challenge to join Flamengo, and now I'm ready. I'm looking forward to playing my first Fla-Flu.
