After this afternoon's training session at Gávea, coach Caio Júnior confirmed that Flamengo will face Grêmio at the Estádio Olímpico in a 3-5-2 formation. Leonardo and Diego Tardelli have been given a chance in the first team.

- "Three defenders is nothing new for Flamengo. Jailton already played this role with Joel Santana, but I preferred to field a defender from the original. Since Grêmio has a very strong set-piece game, with tall defenders, I think it's important to add another player with great stature. Up front, with Marcinho and Tardelli, we gain a lot of speed. The attack is light, and that could cause a lot of problems for the team from Rio Grande do Sul."

Caio Júnior believes it will be a difficult game, but he makes a point of saying that Flamengo goes to Porto Alegre looking for a victory.

- "I'm sure it will be a close game. They beat São Paulo away from home in the first round, and the fans will be at the Olímpico. Even so, Flamengo has to play to win. The big secret to playing well away from home is to attack the opponent."
