Caio Júnior scales Dininho and Luizinho in collective
Ibson, who returned from Portugal yesterday, formed the midfield with Jailton, Toró and Kleberson.
By Flamengo Archive - inThe Flamengo squad returned this Thursday morning, in Gávea, for another collective training session in preparation for Saturday's game against Atlético-MG, at Maracanã, in a game valid for the 29th round of the Brazilian Championship.
During the training session, Caio Júnior maintained the core of the team. Ibson, who spent a few days in Portugal resolving personal issues, trained normally and secured a spot in the midfield alongside Jailton, Toró, and Kleberson. With Fábio Luciano suspended, Dininho formed the defense with Ronaldo Angelim, and Luizinho earned a chance at left-back. The starting lineup trained with: Bruno; Léo Moura, Dininho, Ronaldo Angelim, and Luizinho; Jailton, Toró, Ibson, and Kleberson; Marcelinho Paraíba and Vandinho.
Even with the reserves winning the match 1-0, thanks to a goal by Thiago Sales, the starting team trained well, creating several scoring chances. Goalkeeper Paulo Victor, who played for the reserves, was the standout performer, making at least four important saves.
