Flamengo held its final training session this morning in Gávea before departing for Florianópolis, where the red-and-black team faces Figueirense tomorrow in a match valid for the 24th round of the Brazilian Championship. For the match, coach Caio Júnior will have Ibson and Airton available, who served suspensions in Sunday's Fla-Flu match. In addition to these new reinforcements, the red-and-black manager is celebrating the options available to build the team.

"We'll have Ibson and Airton available, and that's great. We've gained a lot of options. Flamengo has always been a strong defensive team, but they only had Juan and Léo Moura to attack. With the arrival of the new reinforcements, we've gained strength in the creative department, with Everton and Sambueza. I even spoke with the players to explain that we won't be able to play everyone. The squad has many good players, and everyone will get their chance."

With Juan absent, who is on duty with the Brazilian national team, Caio Júnior will improvise with Everton or Luizinho on the left wing.

"Juan is undoubtedly the best left-back in Brazil. I'm working to find a solution for his absence. Since Eltinho hasn't played for almost a year and really missed the rhythm against Santos, I thought it best to keep him. I'll improvise with Everton or Luizinho on the left wing. Everton can play that role, as he's very strong and drops deep. I want to keep the team to a minimum."

Another player available for Caio Júnior on Sunday is Vandinho, who has been out of the squad for five matches. Center forward Josiel is not expected to make his debut until the next round, against São Paulo, on September 16th.

"Vandinho has been out for a long time, so he should be an option on the bench. We're counting on him. Josiel will be doing some physical training these days to make his debut against São Paulo."
