Around twenty customers from six regional Caixa offices in the state of Rio de Janeiro had a special afternoon last Sunday (20). Fanatical red-blacks, they spent the day at Flamengo's headquarters and from there left on a chartered bus to Maracanã, where the club faced Coritiba in the Brazilian championship.

The tour was led by SR Rio de Janeiro Sul's customer and business manager, Liana Santos, and included a visit to the club's museum, a place that preserves the entire history of the Rio de Janeiro club, with special emphasis on the 81 World Cup trophy, won by Flamengo in Tokyo, under the command of stars such as Nunes, Adílio and Zico.

The group also took a guided tour of the headquarters and learned about Gávea. The facilities include a basketball gym, training pools for the swimming, water polo, and synchronized swimming teams, and the modern artistic gymnastics gym, which served as a base for Simone Biles, winner of four gold medals for the US team at the Rio 2016 Games, and is also home to the red-and-black team, the base of the Brazilian national team.

The final surprise came from young full-back Thiago Ennes, who before heading to Maracanã, gave each of the customers a personalized shirt.

For seven-year-old David Laber, one of the most excited about the experience, the gift would bring luck to the team. "I think we'll win 7-0." And he even made sure to leave a message for the fans. "When I'm president of Flamengo, we'll sign Messi and Neymar," he said enthusiastically, dreaming big.

The match against Coritiba ended in a draw, but the red-and-black fans can already expect a new direction for the team, at least as far as David is concerned.
