After the afternoon activities this Tuesday (September 22.09nd) at the George Helal Training Center, midfielder Hector Canteros spoke to the press. The topics discussed included the continuation of the Brazilian Championship and the team's recent performances.

"We are in a situation, fighting at the top, knowing that we need to win no matter what to always add three points, which is the most important thing," he analyzed. The Argentinian is already focused on the game against Vasco, next Sunday (September 27.09). 

"We need to win because we need three points, but we know that the Clássico against Vasco is a very tough fight. We think that playing the way we are playing, we will achieve our goal. It's always good to win any derby. It gives us morale to keep working," he said. Canteros took the opportunity to show what he thinks is necessary for Flamengo to continue fighting at the top of the table.

"A lot of concentration. It can happen now with hard work. A small lapse in concentration from others can win us games. We always have to be focused. And knowing that the team has been playing well, and is on the right track," he concluded.
