After training on ball handling and movement this afternoon in Gávea, defender Fábio Luciano, one of the leaders of the red-black squad, said that Flamengo will go to Recife confidently, even knowing the difficulties of facing Sport at Ilha do Retiro.

"They're a team that's undefeated this year playing at home, but Flamengo is also playing well. The message is the same. We're going to Recife respecting Sport but knowing that Flamengo has what it takes. It's a tough, complicated game, but no team is unbeatable."

For the captain, coach Caio Júnior prepared well for Sunday's game.

"It was a great week. We trained hard against Sport and we know what to do. We'll have to work hard to get a positive result. The entire Sport team is a concern. Leandro Machado and Enílton play up front, with Carlinhos Bala playing from the back."
