While the team had gone seven games without a win, last Wednesday, against Grêmio, they completed their fourth consecutive match without a defeat. Therefore, the players are already seeing a gradual improvement in the team and are beginning to envision better things than their current 14th place in the standings.

"We're already leaving that uncomfortable zone behind. We're going gradually. The first objective is to get away from there for good and try to climb step by step. The G-4 has now become G-3, which makes it even more difficult. We have a squad, the reinforcements that have arrived are settling in, and we have a lot of room to grow from here on out," said full-back Leonardo Moura, who only asks that the team pay a little more attention in some plays to avoid having to chase the deficit as they did in the last two games.

"Things are happening, but we need to be focused so we don't concede those early goals, because it makes us run twice as hard. We'll get it right. It's also important to give credit to the opposing team, but stopping conceding those early goals is very important. If we get ahead and increase the score, it will be much easier for us. We haven't had time to practice set pieces, zonal marking, man-to-man marking. With a little more time we'll get it right and solve this problem," he explained.

The captain also took the opportunity to highlight the positive atmosphere created by the unbeaten run of games in the competition.

"The atmosphere today is completely different from a few rounds ago. We know that making mistakes while wearing this shirt is fatal. The accountability is important, and things are already starting to change," he concluded.
