The red-and-black delegation arrived in Recife after 11 p.m. last night, but was greeted with a celebration. Around a hundred fans awaited the red-and-blacks, demonstrating their support for tomorrow's match against Sport at Ilha do Retiro. Singing the club's anthem, the fans took the opportunity to get autographs and take photos. During today's training session at Náutico's field, the players were once again closely watched by dozens of fans. The affection shown by the people of Pernambuco is an added motivation for the team to maintain its lead in the Brazilian Championship.

"It's great to have this affection from the fans away from home, and that's why we always try to reciprocate," said Leonardo Moura, one of the most popular players after training. "We're in the lead, and we know the game will be very difficult, but we'll fight hard to repay the support the fans give us wherever we go."

Midfielder Marcinho, who will play further forward, forming the attack with Obina, recognizes that Sport is motivated by winning the Copa do Brasil, but is betting on a Flamengo determined to win another away match.

"We'll face an opponent who hasn't lost at home in a long time and is motivated by the Copa do Brasil title. But we're also highly motivated by our lead in the championship, and we'll enter with determination and focus to secure the victory and stay in the lead," he assured.
