Flamengo announces that Paulo César Carpegiani is no longer Flamengo's coach. The coach leaves the club accompanied by his assistant coach, Rodrigo Carpegiani.  

A former club athlete and world champion coach in 1981, Carpegiani arrived at Flamengo for his third stint as coach in January 2018.

The coach has his name etched in the red-black history as commander of the team that won the Copa Libertadores and the Club World Cup in 1981, and the 1982 Brazilian Championship. Flamengo will always be grateful for his enormous contribution to the club and wishes him success in the continuation of his career.
